About The Reserve
The Past
The 20-acre parcel that The Reserve sits on has been a unique piece of the Pomme de Terre lake area for many years. Originally operating as a buffalo ranch, the deep ponds and lush fields provided an ideal setting for buffalo to graze and raise calves. When that chapter closed, it was used privately for sport - specifically hunting and fishing. Whitetail deer and waterfowl regularly pass through the acreage to this day, so it's no surprise this was once a hunter's paradise.
The original vision to turn this parcel into a lakeside getaway was formed in the early 2020's, but by this time natural undergrowth had taken over the once-open fields. Years of intentional grooming - with focus on preserving all the natural beauty the parcel had to offer - led to infrastructure for the initial 15 sites being installed in the southwest corner of the parcel. It was at this point that it became The Reserve.
The Future
The Reserve aspires to be the premier RV and travel trailer park on Pomme de Terre lake. We are building much more than camp sites - we're building a lakeside community. A place we can share with nature and close friends. A place we can escape to - whether for relaxation and recovery, or watersports and recreation.
The future is bright for The Reserve. Projects are planned to expand to 50 spacious sites tucked into the natural landscape, and to build unique amenities for members and their families to enjoy for years to come. But the features don't make the community - its members do. We look forward to building it with you.
